The AllAboutOmaha website provides lots of information about Omaha, Nebraska, from a general description of what Omaha has to offer in a general sense, to special events and when they happen, our attractions, such as art galleries, museums, our zoo, and anything else that may interest anyone passing through or visiting, or planning a visit to Omaha, and would like to make sure they didn't miss something and regret it later.

We make every effort to provide accurate event information, including whether the details for an annual event has been confirmed, or we are going on a rule for when an event happens (such as 3rd Saturday ...), and the sort. Many event notices have additional information if you hover your mouse pointer over the graphic, including a small floating calendar so you can better understand when an event is taking place. We have a lot of great events that we would like to share with visitors.

We don't stop just bragging about our wonderful city and what is going on, but we also delve into our history, which is fascinating to say the least. You wouldn't want to visit, pass through, or live here without knowing about all of the important historical events that took place here.

We are far enough north that it gets cold here and throughout much of the Midwest. In 2014, the Weather Channel ranked Omaha as the 5th coldest major U.S. city. If you are not accustomed to cold weather, you might think it unfair to invite you to visit our city, but you may just miss out on on some great times that can only happen in the cold. Omaha people are rugged people; we get out and enjoy our many opportunities to breathe in some fresh clean air, go ice skating or even ice fishing when the lakes freeze over, which is a rarity these days. Cross-country skiing is a popular winter sport, and even downhill skiing (we have a couple places nearby to do just that believe it or not). A winter hike will give you confidence that your body and heart is going to be in the best shape when you need it.

Sure it gets cold in the winter, but when the summer comes, we get as hot as just about any other place in the country. Would you believe that Miami, Florida's average temperature is not even 2 degrees higher than our average?

Our summers are spectacular! We have something going on for just about any weekend, including some major art festivals, fairs, music events, and a wide assortment of other things that you would not want to miss out on. Omaha has more golf courses per capita than any other city with a population of over 100,000. We may not get to play much golf in the winter, but we do make up for it in the warmer months.

In addition to providing information about Omaha, we also provide lots of information about cities throughout Nebraska, and the six surrounding states of Nebraska. Our Native American section has lots of Pow Wows listed throughout the same states, and also includes North Dakota and Oklahoma Pow Wows.

All in all, we intend to provide lots of information for your enjoyment. With that, every website has to have some legal pages to clarify that we are not interested in collecting information that would invade your privacy, and that we are not responsible for anything that happens while visiting our website. We merely want to provide something that we hope will be valuable and informative to you, our valued readers. To sum it up, here are the legal information pages:
